KEVIN GLEASON
Kevin is the Director of Performance Training for Athletes Edge. He holds a BS in Exercise Science from Springfield College and has over 13 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach. Kevin was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Dallas Mavericks and the Head Strength Coach for the Dallas Sidekicks Indoor Soccer Club. Kevin operated his own training facility, The Athletic Development Center in Dallas Texas from 1998-2002.

Kevin personally trained:
Over 25 NFL players including 2 first round draft picks
Numerous MLB players including one first round draft pick

Kevin has also worked as strength and conditioning coach for hundreds of High School and youth athletes, many of whom have made their way to the collegiate and professional ranks under his tutelage. Kevin is responsible for developing and administering all of our speed, strength and agility programs and is a certified Athletic Republic Sports Training Coach and a certified Athletic Republic ACL Rehab administrator.
PHIL UNGER

Phil is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Athletes Edge. He has his B.A. in Kinesiology from Concordia University of St. Paul. In college Phil lettered in both football and track and field and was a two-time all-conference player at right tackle for the Concordia University Golden Bears. Phil is currently the offensive/defensive line coach for the Ayer HS Panthers.  Phil plays Semi-Pro Football for the Lowell Nor’easters of the NEFL and was named to the 2008 All-Star Team. 

DAN MAGRATH

Dan owns and operates Athletes Edge Sports Performance Training and Athletes Edge Baseball. He founded "THE EDGE" in 2003 with one goal in mind – to help young athletes realize their full athletic potential. Dan spent 15 years in the software business before deciding to pursue his real passion, coaching, training and mentoring young athletes. Dan grew up locally in Arlington where he played Baseball and Hockey for Arlington Catholic H.S. until knee injuries ended his playing days.  Dan has been teaching and coaching youth sports for over 14 year.

Dan is the Head Coach of the AE U14 AAU Baseball Team and is the Little League Baseball Skills Instructor for his hometown of Harvard, Ma.  Dan continues to play competitive baseball with the Acton Orioles of the Boston Men's Baseball League and was a member of the 2004 Championship Team. An avid tennis player, Dan is also certified by the United States Tennis Association as a Developmental Coach and is a certified Athletic Republic Sports Training Coach.

ADAM WNUKOWSKI

Adam is the Co-Owner and Head Baseball Instructor for Athletes Edge Baseball. Adam holds a BS Degree in Exercise Science from Springfield College. He is a lifelong resident of Concord Ma. where he has been involved in Concord-Carlisle Youth Baseball for over 20 years as a coach, instructor, and league commissioner. Adam was also the Assistant Varsity Baseball
Coach at Concord-Carlisle High School.

In 2002, Adam co-founded the Eastern Mass All-Stars, a team comprised of some of the best 12 year old players from over 75 cities and towns in greater Boston. Selected each year, these players commit to playing and training as a team throughout the spring and summer with the expressed goal of competing in one of the nations top baseball tournaments, the Cooperstown Dreams Park National American Tournament Championship which is held annually in the last week of August in Cooperstown, NY.  Over the course of seven years, the 12U All-Stars have compiled a 43-13 record at the Cooperstown Dreams Park National American Tournament of Champions (NATC) week while advancing to the Sweet Sixteen three times (the only team ever from Massachusetts to do so during NATC Week).


Numerous College Students pursuing a degree in Exercise Science work as Interns at Athletes Edge. These students enjoy the real world experience of working with our athletes under the close supervision of our head trainer Kevin Gleason.
