DAN MAGRATH
 |
Dan owns and operates Athletes Edge Sports Performance. Dan founded "THE EDGE" in 2003 with one simple goal in mind – to help young athletes realize their full athletic potential. Dan had a successful 15 year career in the Enterprise Software business before deciding to pursue his real passion; coaching, training and mentoring young athletes. Dan grew up locally in Arlington where he played Baseball and Hockey for Arlington Catholic High School. Knee injuries ended his aspirations of playing at the next level but not the passion for sports, training, and teaching. Dan has been teaching and coaching youth baseball, hockey, tennis and basketball for over 15 years.
In 2005 Dan Co-Founded Athletes Edge Baseball, one of the Elite Baseball Programs in New England. AE Baseball fields regionally and nationally competitive teams from age 10U-15U. Dan currently coaches the Athletes Edge 11U team. He continues to play competitive baseball with the Acton Orioles of the Boston Men's Baseball League and was a member of the 2004 Championship Team.
An avid tennis player, Dan is also certified by the United States Tennis Association as a Developmental Coach and is a certified Athletic Republic Performance Training Coach.
